Finding a great pair of boots on a budget can be a challenge, sometimes. You would think it would be a cinch with the selection out there, but when you think about the heel, color, style and comfort, your choices quickly dwindle. I was shopping with a client recently, and was reminded of this very thing, so I thought I would pass along some super cute, affordable, yet quality options here on the blog.

I've been shopping with a few clients lately and one item that I encouraged them to purchase this fall is colored corduroy skinnies. I have a couple pair myself and LOVE them. They're so comfy and add a little variety to a closet full of denim. Cords can pass for dress pants and are also great for casual day wear. My clients tend to be a little unsure of what to wear with them, so here's a great out of the box look for colored cords. Try a top in lighter hue to the same tone. It may be a stretch for some of you, but I'm sure you're looking at the pic saying yeah, that really does look cute together!

This grid pattern is a big trend for fall whether it's in shirts, pants or dresses. However, if you have broad shoulders like me, or a larger bust, I would caution you to proceed with care. I do think this dress is super cute though and so versatile for fall and winter.
Give yourself a little more shape and definition by belting the sheath too!

This time of year I sometimes begin to crave toned down, soothing neutrals appropriate for fall. Depending on my mood, I may add a pop of color with a shoe, necklace, scarf or handbag. Other times I like to keep it all clean and simple, like Jennifer Aniston. ;) The layers also come in super handy this time of year.
