Looks for Fall: Burgandy

If you're looking to see what's new and exciting for fall, look no further.  My next few posts will give you all the skinny on what's new and exciting in the world of fashion for the upcoming season.  Up first is this season's it color, burgundy.  I've already seen tons of it in the stores and picked up a few pieces myself.  =)

You can find just about everything under the sun in burgundy right now from pants, skirts, purses, to accessories and tops.  Here are a few of my favorites finds under $100 (I already snagged the sleeveless colorblock top from Target). I'll also be showing you how to style burgundy in the weeks to come, here on the blog.  Stay tuned!

So, are you ready for fall, or are you hanging on for dear life to summer?  I'm a summer gal, shorts and tanks are my thing, so I'm always sad to see them go, and the jean season seems oh so long.  Thank goodness we have so many different pant/jean options to choose from these days, and I am looking forward to sharing some of them with you in the upcoming weeks and months, here on the blog.  But, for now I'm hanging on to these last days of summer, so here's another great transitional outfit for now and later.  Have a great week, everyone!

Lazy Days of Summer

Lazy Days of Summer

eyelet shorts
Old Navy denim shirt
steve-madden shoes
shopping handbag
 Mango glass glasses

Happy Friday, everyone!  Are you looking forward to a lazy summer weekend or is your schedule jammed packed with things to do?  Whether you're in a rush to head out the door to the Farmer's Market, the park, weekend at the cottage, or anything in between here's an easy summer go to look.  Bonus tip - tie the shirt in a little knot or tuck in the front of your shirt to keep it looking cute and sassy instead of frumpy and dumpy.
